In Panama Living, we wanted to present the most important sports stores in Panama. In this first installment, we will focus on general stores and in the next installment, we will talk about specific stores for innovative and specialized sports.
You can’t talk about sports in Panama without talking about Sportline America, one of the largest stores with more than 15 branches nationwide. This chain extends beyond our country, with a presence in all the markets of the Central American region and Colombia.
Sportline, as it is traditionally known, offers clothing and accessories from the most renowned international brands, with clothing and accessories for soccer, basketball, running, and swimming. It also has one of the most robust online shopping portals, with home delivery nationwide, including in the Buenaventura area. If you like to buy in person, you can do it comfortably in Multiplaza and Towncenter, among other locations.
In Panama, you can also find sports stores of the most recognized international brands, some of them even have their regional offices in the country. Below we detail some of them with their most relevant locations:
Adidas: five stores nationwide, located in Multiplaza, Albrook Mall, and one at the Tocumen airport.
Everlast: three stores in Panama, located in Altaplaza, Albrook, and Multiplaza. In addition, it has an online store.
New Balance: The sponsoring brand of the Panamanian national soccer team has two stores in the city, Multiplaza, and Albrook, and it also has an online store.
Nike: It has five stores in Panama City, one of them specializing in women’s sportswear (Multiplaza) and two outlet-type establishments (Los Pueblos and Vía España).
Puma: This brand offers five stores nationwide (Multiplaza and Albrook Mall), with one of them located at the Tocumen Airport.
Under Armour: has two stores in Panama City located in Costa del Este (Towncenter) and another in San Francisco (Panama).
An important part of exercising and practicing sports is supplementation, which is why we also want to mention three stores that may be useful for this. These stores are GNC, an international benchmark in this field, The Vitamin Shoppe, and FitLab; all three with locations in important areas of Panama City such as Atrio Mall, Towncenter, and Multiplaza.
