Panama has adjusted its measures even more for national and international travelers. This time, all passengers can enter the country if they are fully vaccinated and have proof endorsed by the WHO, EMA and FDA, equal to or more than fourteen days after the last vaccine.
The constant improvement in numbers and successful vaccination process in the country has allowed the government to better the requirements to enter Panama.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Travelers are exempt from presenting a negative COVID-19 test to enter as long as they can provide physical or digital proof of complete vaccination endorsed by the WHO, EMA and FDA, equal to or more than fourteen days since the last dose.
- Non-vaccinated travelers must present a negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to their arrival time in Panama.
- If a test is not possible within the time frame, a COVID-19 rapid test will be mandated at the airport before entering immigration and the traveler must cover the cost of said test (UDS $50)
- If the results are positive, the traveler will be placed under mandatory quarantine for 14 days in a Hotel Hospital established by the Ministry of Health. The cost of the stay must be fully covered by the traveler.
- If a test is not possible within the time frame, a COVID-19 rapid test will be mandated at the airport before entering immigration and the traveler must cover the cost of said test (UDS $50)
- All travelers must present a Health Affidavit (physical or digital) to the airline or carrier company prior to boarding.

RECOMMENDATIONS
- Currently , the IATA Travel Pass is not accepted as proof of vaccination.
- Medical insurance is not a prerequisite to enter but it is highly recommended.
- We do not recommend the use or transport of unnecessary articles on board, such as blankets or pillows, to minimize risk of cross contamination.
- We encourage all travelers to verify the travel restrictions of the country of exit and their country of citizenship.
