The luxury family-friendly resort offers visitors an easy to get exotic escape
Source: Zapwater. October 22, 2020. The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort, a destination resort and beach community two hours outside of Panama City, is now welcoming guests from the U.S. as Panama reopened its borders to air travelers last week with no quarantine restrictions.
Located on the Pacific coast of Panama and a short flight from major cities in the U.S., the Buenaventura Resort offers travelers a quick, yet exotic getaway with miles of uncrowded beaches, unique rainforest experiences, and plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy while properly social distancing.
“We’re thrilled to once again welcome travelers to our tropical paradise. While the Buenaventura experience may look a little different, guests will still be able to enjoy our authentic and immersive Panamanian offerings the resort is known for,” said Victor Concepción, general manager of The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort.
“Ideally located just outside of the hustle and bustle of Panama City, the resort offers expansive and uncrowded spaces where guests can relax and reconnect with nature while feeling safe and cared for.”
The 118-room luxury resort is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors.
The resort offers a range of onsite activities with seven swimming pools, Nicklaus designed 18-hole championship golf course, biking, tennis, a zoo, sports club, spa and many other nearby experiences.
With cuisine being an important element to The Buenaventura experience, guests can also enjoy chef-driven restaurants that serve a classic Panamanian food with a modern twist.
For guests who are working virtually, the resort has transformed several guestrooms into comfortable remote offices and co-working spaces.
Available to rent by the day or the week, the Buenaventura’s workspaces provide a quiet space with beautiful views of the resort and come equipped with highspeed Internet access. Meal delivery from several of the resort’s restaurants is also available.
Visitors traveling to Panama are required to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 48 hours of arrival or pay $50 for a rapid test on arrival.
Once on property, the resort’s new Mobile Check-in App by Marriott provides a convenient and contactless way for guests to check-in. Guests are required to wear a facial covering in all public spaces.
